Ocean's Gifts by Mary

Using the natural beauty of shells, I strive to display nature's handiwork in a medium that can be enjoyed as a valued piece of art. I love to explore the beach and my inspiration comes from collecting and studying the incredible diversity of shells and other sealife that I find when "beachcombing". Each picture, mosaic or arrangement is unique. I use the natural color of shells in my work.  In addition, I enjoy painting ocean scenes with acrylics on wooden plaques, adding texture with sand and small shells.  Please visit the gallery to see some examples of my work.
